光と影だけが存在する領域で旅をすると、周りの物事は以前の確実性を失い、私たちの意識に浸透し、物体の境界は輝き、発光し、振動し始めます。この展示では、私たちは絶えず変化する状態に身を置き、体と意識の切り替えと調和を通じて、イメージを凝視し続けます。
画像が何を表すか、または何を示そうとしているかについて話すとき、私たちは本質的な内容ではなく、観客がアーティストの提供する状況に自分自身のリズムとステップで入る前に、感じるものを話しています。拡大された写真により、観客の歩みは遅くなり、思考が漂い始め、感情が不可避に介入します。意識がこの瞬間に十分に応答すると、展示全体に対する知覚もそれに続きます。これは他の人々とは異なる瞬間であり、展示全体の鑑賞に記憶として残るものです。
これらの画像は自然の表面の再現だけでなく、人間の内面の視点への本能的な示唆でもあります。『凝固した流れ』を鑑賞すると、私たちは自分自身の内部の部屋に入り込んでいるのです。物質と心性には不可分のつながりがあり、それらは単純な部分から構成されているように見えますが、各独立した空間は無限に拡大し、間隔と境界はいつでも消え、部屋をつなぐ廊下は長くも短くもなり得ます。したがって、潜在意識の岸に到達すると、内視覚の真の構造が明らかになります。画像の中で、私たちは何かをつかみ、触れることのできない何かにつかまれ、見えないレベルを開いています。再現、精神、抽象は私たちを見えない別の視点に導きます。
ABOUT
李雪蒙 Xuemeng Li
Xuemeng Li, born in 2000, China, is a young artist who mainly focuses on photography and film as his art mediums. His recent photographic works explore internalized experiences related to Eastern philosophy, psychology, and personal memory. He received “the 2nd Banshan Photography Award - Jury Award” in Tokyo 2022, was shortlisted for “IMA- next: Sound&Voice” in Japan 2023, and received an Honorable Mention in the “International Photography Awards 2023” in the U.S. He held his first solo exhibition “Finding” in 2022 and now is having his second solo exhibition “Wandering Through” at Banshan Gallery Tokyo. His previous works have been exhibited in the Blanc Gallery (New York, 2023), Times Art Gallery (New York, 2022), Three Shadows Photography Art Center (China, 2022), Arch Gallery (China, 2021), Xie Zilong Photography Museum (China, 2020), etc. For more information about his works, please visit www.lsimonxm.com
张汀芷 Tingzhi Zhang
Tingzhi Zhang is a curator and researcher whose practice centres on inner vision and interpretation of iconographic practices, poetic expressions of consciousness, and polyphonic weaving in curatorial approaches. She holds degrees in Anthropology and Art History from the University College London. From 2018 to 2020, she participated in the Arts Council England-funded exhibition project, the Central Saint Martins’ graduation exhibition project, and art reviews published by the Birmingham Museum of Art. She has curated various exhibitions and projects like Entropy and Hidden Force (2023), DETOUR (2023), The Task of Alchemy (2022), Eclipse (2022), etc.
